Yesterday, Senator Ted Stevens, one of the most influential and powerful members of Senate was convicted on "on seven counts of failing to report more than $250,000 in improper gifts and home renovations he received from 1999 to 2006. The verdict is a stunning blow to a political career that has lasted more than 40 years and covered Alaska’s entire history as a part of the United States."Ted Stevens is a baad baad man. Good riddance to pork barrel spending.
